The Magpul D60 AR-15 60-round drum magazine is an easy-to-load, high-capacity, lightweight polymer magazine for the AR15/M4 platform. The D-60 features twice the capacity of traditional magazines but eliminates the need for a critical reload between those two 30 rounds mags. In addition to having twice the capacity of a 30 round mag, the Magpul D-60 drum mag features a shorter overall height, which enables prone firing and easier storage!

Magpul makes use of their legendary lightweight and rugged polymer, allowing the D-60 to weigh in at a mere 20.5 oz unloaded, and 46 oz when loaded. This drum magazine is designed for use with 223 Remington and 5.56x45 ammunition and features wide compatibility with most 'STANAG 4179' platforms such as the AR15, M4, M16, SCAR MK16/16S, HK416, MR556, M27 IAR, IWI Tavor, and others. The D-60 is designed to lock the bolt back after the last round for most AR15/M4/HK416 platforms. Inserting an empty magazine and manually cycling the charging handle will not activate the bolt hold-open feature. In addition, this feature may or may not work for weapons with bolt hold-open levers that don't adhere to the Colt-spec.
