Blazer 45 ACP 230 Grain FMJ Aluminum
Blazer
Product Details
One of the most iconic calibers in history and associated with the equally iconic 1911 Colt, the .45 ACP was actually introduced in 1908 to approximate the venerable .45 Long Colt’s ballistics in a self loading handgun design. While no longer the primary US service sidearm caliber, it is retained by numerous special forces organizations, police and of course private enthusiasts for both sport and defense: the relatively slow moving and heavy bullet is both accurate and not prone to shooting through very many things: depositing its energies where it belongs: in the target. The 230 grain bull metal jacketed bullet by CCI can exit the muzzle at up to 845 feet per second with 365 foot pounds of energy. This is an ideal target shooting or range training round.
CCI Blazer is Cascade Cartridge Inc’s economical offering for “plinking” ammunition: consistent reliability and performance as is expected by the company along with economic pricing: this is made possible by the use of aluminum casing that is not reloadable, but neither is it corrosive.
